Tom Holland is a British actor, voice actor and dancer born in Kingston upon Thames, London, England. The son of a photographer and a writer and stand-up comedian, he has three younger brothers.
When Tom Holland was young, he attended Donhead, a Catholic primary school. He also at the age of seven he was diagnosed with dyslexia.
He later attended Wimbledon College and in December 2012 he joined The BRIT School, a public school for the performing arts and technology.
While at Wimbledon, Tom started taking hip-hop dance classes at the Nifty Feet Dance School. He had his potential recognized by the choreographer Lynne Page, a person close to Peter Darling, who at the time was responsible for the choreography of the film and play Billy Elliot.
After eight auditions and two years of preparation, Tom debuted in the West End musical as Billy's best friend, and a few months later he started playing the lead role, receiving positive reviews for the performance.
