In the story of The Island of Giant Insects we see a plane in which the students of Hosho Academy are crashing on a deserted island. The survivors decide to wait for help, but soon discover that the island is inhabited by giant insects. Help arrives in three days, but surviving on the island is not as easy as you think. This film is an adaptation of the manga by Yasutaka Fujimi, and is being produced by studio Passione (Citrus) together with Crunchyroll.
