Super man or as it is also known Superman is a comic book superhero published by DC Comics.

The character, however, since the 1930s, has already been adapted for several other media, such as cinema, radio, television, literature and video games. Superman was created by comic book duo Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel.

His first appearance took place in the summer of 1938, in the magazine Action Comics #1. The character was born on the fictional planet Krypton and had the name Kal-El. He was sent to Earth by his scientist father, Jor-El, moments before Krypton exploded.
