Jupiter's Legacy is a Netflix original superhero series based on the comic books by Mark Millar and Frank Quitely. The series premiered in May 2021 and presents a unique take on the superhero genre, exploring the consequences of heroes aging and passing on their legacies to the next generation.
The series follows the story of Sheldon Sampson, aka The Utopian, and his wife Grace, who lead a group of superheroes called The Union. After decades of fighting crime and protecting humanity, they must deal with the pressures of age and pass on the mantle of superheroes to their children, who need to learn to deal with the responsibility of having superpowers and maintaining their parents' legacy.
