The story of Japan Sinks 2020 chronicles shortly after the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, a massive earthquake hits Japan. Amidst the chaos, brothers Ayumu and Gou Mutou begin to escape the city with their family. The sinking Japanese archipelagos, however, relentlessly pursue the family.
