Attack on Titan debuted over 10 years ago in Japan in April 2013 and quickly achieved unprecedented global success. The incredible Japanese animation, added to an exciting plot with hints of politics and religion, conquered not only anime and manga fans, but also attracted the attention of other audiences.
In short, the anime is based on a manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. Its first publication was in September 2009 in the monthly Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine and since then, the chapters have been collected and released by Kodansha Publishing.
